Government listens to civil society on ways to tackle poverty The Presidency of South Africa, under the leadership of Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe, will convene a two-day consultation from 8 to 9 December 2009, at Willow Park Conference Centre in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg. O comércio informal é uma fonte de sustento para várias pessoas pobres - especialmente para as mulheres. Mas frequentemente é invisível em estratégias de desenvolvimento de políticas nacionais e regionais e as vozes dos comerciantes informais são raramente ouvidas nas discussões sobre o comércio regional na África do Sul. Por conseguinte, a integração do comércio regional é frequentemente considerada irrelevante para as pessoas pobres na África do Sul.
