The Pan African Parliament Committee meetings are currently sitting at the Pan African Parliament Headquarters in Midrand, South Africa. The meetings started on 05 March 2008 and are scheduled to end on 14 March 2008. The Committees are going to tackle a number of issues and are expected to set the tone for the forthcoming 9th Ordinary Session of the Parliament in May 2008.

The 10 PAP Committees are:

1. Committee for Rural Economy, Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment;
2. Committee on Monetary and Financial Affairs;
3. Committee on Trade, Customs and Immigration matters;
4. Committee on Co-operation, International Relations and Conflict resolution;
5. Committee on Transport, Industry, Communications, Energy Science and Technology;
6. Committee on Health, Labour and Social Affairs;
7. Committee on Education, Culture, Tourism and Human Resources;
8. Committee on Gender, Family, Youth and People with Disability;
9. Committee on Justice and Human rights; and
10. Committee on Rules, Privileges and Discipline.
