Deepening engagement with CSO's in Mozambique

Following the successful award ceremony of the Drivers of Change held on 26th October, 2006 in South Africa in which the late Dr José Negrão of Mozambique emerged as the winner of the award, the Southern Africa Trust explored further ways of how it can continue to deepen its work with civil society organisations in Mozambique.

On 17th November 2006, the Board of Trustees of the Southern Africa Trust met in Maputo for their board meeting. The Trust took this opportunity to hold a consultative dialogue with key CSOs in Mozambique to discuss how they see the role of the Trust in overcoming poverty in the country. The dialogue took place at Hotel Avenida.
